Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: September 6, 2026

The short answer: Paddle Creek Paints does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We're a one-person home studio — there is no ad network, data broker, or third-party buyer involved anywhere in how this site works.

What "sell" and "share" mean here

Some privacy laws (including California's) define "sale" and "share" broadly — broadly enough that certain uses of advertising and analytics technology can count, even without money changing hands. We want to be precise about what this site actually does:

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, name, or any other information you give us, to anyone, for any reason.
  • We have not enabled advertising features, ad personalization, or Google Signals in Google Analytics for this site — so nothing here is set up to share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Microsoft Clarity, the other analytics tool used on this site, is a usage-analytics tool, not an advertising platform, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.
  • The only parties who see information submitted through our forms are Google (as the infrastructure provider for the Google Sheet and Apps Script that store and send it) and us.

See our Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect and why, including the DiscountLeads mailing list, CommissionLeads inquiries, and how Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are used.

Making a request anyway

Even though we don't sell or share personal information as described above, if you'd still like to submit a request — for example, to confirm this, or to ask that your information not be used for any future analytics or marketing purpose — you can reach us at paddlecreekpaints@gmail.com. We will respond and honor reasonable requests.

This page is provided as a transparency practice for anyone who wants it, regardless of whether every applicable legal threshold for a formal "Do Not Sell or Share" right technically applies to a business our size. We'd rather be straightforward about this than make you dig for the answer.
